Welcome to The Birchwood Medical Centre
We aim to offer a friendly, efficient, modern, family doctor service in fully-equipped, well-run practices. Dr David Goodworth and Dr Christopher Cole work in partnership, alongside Dr Ben Wallace, Dr Helen Platts, Dr Laura Carey, Dr Emily Harvey and Dr Stephanie Dalton, who cover both the Creekmoor and Oakdale surgeries.
With patients' needs at the heart of everything we do, our website has been designed to make it easy for you to gain instant access to the information you need. As well as specific practice details such as opening hours and how to register, you’ll find a wealth of useful pages covering a wide range of health issues along with links to other relevant medical organisations.

We hope you enjoy having a look around the site and familiarising yourself with some of the online features such as ordering a repeat prescription. Whatever your thoughts, be
sure to let us know via our feedback function. Comments and suggestions are always a great way of helping us continue to enhance the way we look after you.
We would like to offer our congratulations to Dr Helen Platts, who is now the very proud mother of a little boy; Max.
The Practice has recently updated their computer system provider. We are currently experiencing problems with the online services. We are working closely with the service provider to rectify these problems. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you in advance for your patience whilst we resolve these issues.
