Welcome To Birchwood PracticeDoctorsDr Martin Briggs, Dr David Goodworth, Dr Sue Warren and Dr Chris Cole About The PracticeWelcome to our group practice, in which Dr M W Briggs, Dr D J Goodworth, Dr Sue J Warren and Dr C C Cole work in partnership. We aim to provide a friendly, efficient service that helps to prevent illness in addition to looking after you when you are unwell. Both our surgeries have suitable access for disabled patients. When one of the doctors is absent, their duties are covered by the remaining partners. Retainer GPsThe practice currently has one doctor holding six sessions per week. General Practitioner RegistrarsOur practice is a training practice. Our registrars are fully qualified with at least three years' hospital experience and have chosen general practice as a career; they are normally attached to our surgery for 12 months. They provide care of the same standard as that given by the other doctors within the practice, and will refer to the partner who is their trainer if necessary. We are also a training practice for junior doctors who are attached to the hospital and are with us on a four monthly rotation. They are under the supervision of the other doctors within the surgery when seeing patients.
